Smarter Home Systems receive a large number of enquiries through Checkatrade as the good reviews received there lead to further enquiries. This was the case in April 2023 when Mr J from Christchurch contacted us regarding cleaning the roof of his 4 bedroom property which suffered from moss growth.
Whilst performing the usual site survey for the work Mr J and Louis Harbison began discussing how to elevate the look of Mr J's whole property. After showing pictures of previous work Mr J selected an additional service of painting the newly cleaned tiles in Renotec blue-black coating to make the house stand out from the rest and modernise it.
The quotation was very quickly accepted and scaffolding booked in for the work to commence. Once site safety had been assured with the scaffolding the cleaning began by jetting off the stubborn moss, lichen and algae which was discolouring Mr Js roof. Once dry the roof tiles were coated with ProPERLA anti-fungal sealant to inhibit future regrowth. The final phase was the re-painting using the blue-black. Two coats of this took a few days and was again finished with a coat of sealant as a finishing touch.
Before leaving the property Louis ensured that the team cleaned all of the windows and fascias to provide a truly outstanding new look. Mr J was delighted with the final result and commented 'Louis said in his quote that our house would look incredible and he was true to his word! We are very happy!'.
