Roof & Masonry Cleaning - Southbourne
Smarter Home Systems were contacted through our website by Mr & Mrs M from the Southbourne area. Their primary interest was for loft insulation to prepare them for the winter - with the desired result being reduced heating bills.
When visiting the premises to quote for this work Mr M then also mentioned the tired appearance of his roof - and enquired if anything could be done to improve this. Having taken a look at the cause of the problem we recommended a thorough roof clean and seal. This combination always instantly improves the roof's appearance and provides the kerb appeal the homeowner wants.
Work commenced for the two jobs on 28th October 2021 and it wasn't long before the lichen, algae and salt contaminents were removed. As the property was coastal the salt in particular has caused some discolouration. The roof was then coated with ProPERLA hydrophobic seal, the industry leading product.
Once Mr M saw the incredible transformation with his roof he then showed us his discoloured exterior brickwork - could we work a similar magic on this he enquired. We definitely could - and after thorough cleaning and an application of masonry wall cream the entire house had been brought back to an almost new appearance. Mr & Mrs M expressed their delight at the work Smarter Home had completed for them and have already gone on to recommend us to several friends.
