Roof Cleaning - Southampton
Smarter Home Systems operate throughout Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire and are often called out to large conurbations such as Southampton and Portsmouth for roof cleaning services. In summer 2022 an enquiry came in via Checkatrade for exactly this from Southampton by a Mrs P. After the initial enquiry was handled our customary full site visit and survey was arranged. During this survey Mrs P also expressed an interest in upgrading her roofline products, fascias, soffits and guttering while the job was underway as this may well all be tackled efficiently in one project.
Smarter Homes quote was soon accepted and work commenced in mid June 2022. The initial task was to erect full scaffolding for the works and once up a thorough deep clean of the roofing tiles commenced. This removed a large growth of moss, algae and lichen which instantly made the roof look much better. ProPERLA water repellent was then professionally coated onto the surface to protect the roof against the elements for years to come. ProPERLA comes with a 10 year manufacturers guarantee but has been proven to be effective for up to 25 years after application.
With the roof tackled and looking back to it's best the old roofline was stripped off and new products applied. Instantly the clean new lines of the fascias, soffits and guttering completed the look and enhanced the work completed on the roof tiles. If the roof of a property looks clean and new there is a very good chance the whole property will be totally transformed as the square footage of the roof is a large proportion of what is presented when viewing the house.
Mrs P was so delighted with the final appearance of her property, which now looked the best in the street that she passed on our details to neighbours who we have now also completed works for.
