Roof Cleaning Ferndown
As is the case with many construction or home improvemennt businesses Smarter Home Systems pay 3rd parties for new leads. One of these such platforms is Rated People and early in spring 2023 Smarter tried a lead for a Mr & Mrs E residing in Ferndown. Their property required a refresh of their tired wooden soffits and fascias plus some remedial roof and painting work and an entire roof clean.
The site was visited to see first hand the scope of the work and a quotation submitted to Mr & Mrs E. They advised that they were still awaiting two further quotations from other businesses. Home improvements is a very competitive sector but as usually happens with a couple of minor tweaks the Smarter Home quote was accepted for work to commence.
The first task was to erect scaffolding around the property as it is always imperative to work safely on a project at height such as this. The entire roof including separate garage was then thoroughly cleaned and coated with ProPERLA weatherproof sealant. This part of the project took 3 full days of labour due to the size of the two roofs needing attention. After this the existing fascias and soffits were sanded down in preparation for painting to commence. We then professionally applied two coats of black exterior paint to all of the timber finishings of this property. We then applied two coats of cream exterior paint to the exterior render to give this a needed uplift in colour.
To complete the project all gutters around the site were cleared and cleaned and some downpipes moved to prevent water leaking from guttering onto a conservatory roof. Everything was completed on time with the site left clean and tidy. Mr and Mrs E were overjoyed with the new and improved look of their property.
