Roof Cleaning Christchurch
Mr G contacted Smarter Home Systems through Checkatrade, where we have many excellent testimonials and reviews. His 4 bedroom detached property in Christchurch suffered badly from moss on his roof tiles and he asked for our quotation to remove the moss and seal the tiles against the weather for the future.
As is our usual practice a full site survey was undertaken and a quote swiftly produced. As our prices are extremely competitive the quote was accpeted almost immediately and work booked in for the following week.
Once on site the roof tiles were thoroughly jetwashed clean of debris including moss, algae and lichen which grows in wet and damp conditions. The next step is the spraying of a fungicidal treatment which is allowed to coat the surface for two hours before the tiles are given one last clean off. Once the moss is removed and the tiles clean the roof looks entirely different and this allows the property itself to look far better than before we arrive.
The last part of the job is a thorough coating of ProPERLA water repellent which is guaranteed for 10 years but lasts as long as a quarter of a century. This prevents rainfall penetrating the tile surface which is the primary cause of moss and algae growth. On completion the site is cleaned down including all windows and rubbish disposed off before departure. Mr G was extremely satisfied with the work of Smarter Home Systems.
