Roof Cleaning and Gym - Bournemouth
Smarter Home Systems were contacted early in 2023 by a Mr T from the Hengistbury Head area of Bournemouth. He had seen our social media posts about a project undertaken to transform a residential room into a gym area. Mr T wanted to see if we could do a similar task for his home and whilst there clear his roof from moss and algae which he had also spotted we did on our social posts.
Managing Director Louis Harbison promptly visited the location personally to survey the requirements and take all relevant measurements in order to quote for the works. Less than 2 days later our offer was accepted and work booked in for the following week.
The project commenced with the roof cleaning. In the normal efficient way Smarter Home Systems set to work removing all moss, algae and lichen growth from the tile surfaces and cleaning thoroughly before weather proofing the surfaces using ProPERLA superior sealant. This guarantees protection from water ingress for 10 years but is known to last up to 25 years. The roof tiles and integrity of the structure was also checked whilst performing these tasks as part of our service.
The interior gym comprised complete redecoration throughout and new specialised rubber flooring installed. Mirrors and complete electrics completed the transformation. A gym is a great way to utilise rooms within a house that are largely unused, if large enough obviously. Mr and Mrs T were so happy with the work completed that Smarter Homes were tasked with further home improvements at this property.
