Roof Cleaning and FSG - Winton, Bournemouth
In April 2022 Mr T from Winton in Bournemouth visited our showroom to enquire about some issues he had with his property. He was concerned about it's appearance as the roof looked old and tired through growth of moss and algae. This also brings the possibility of moisture leakage through the roof at some point if left untreated. Mr T also expressed interest in complete replacement of his current fascias, soffits and gutters for the same reason of poor appearance which was letting down his property.
Katie Harbison dealt with these initial enquiries and set up a site visit for the following week which Louis Harbison then completed. Whilst on site Smarter Homes also checked the integrity of the current roofing structure and tiling to ensure damage had not already occurred. After a clean bill of health on this front was passed along with a quote to complete the work this was approved by Mr T who was keen for his home to look renewed and cared for. The initial site survey also included full measurements to ensure adequate sealant was provided to cover the roof structure fully.
Scaffold was erected after which the roof was completely and thoroughly cleaned by trained professionals with years of experience of working on similar buildings. Once clean the roof was sealed with the industry leading ProPERLA weatherproof coating. This will provide years of cover against the elements.
Removal of the old fascias, soffits and gutters were completed fairly swiftly before replacement with the much better looking new items. This really made the property look almost back to it's best. Roof cleaning combined with new roofline products can instantly transform the appearance kerbside of a home. All work was completed in less than a week and Mr T commented on how clean and tidy Smarter Home worked and left his property. He then went on to recommend us to friends in Bournemouth for similar work.
